Redotex capsules is a diet pill manufactured in Mexico and being sold in the U.S. as a weight loss product. There are many diet pills available on the market, but not many that are as unsafe as Redotex. This product contained a slew of stimulants and was first introduced in the 80s, though the FDA now bans it. This is certainly not good news for any supplement, especially since it is not being made anymore.

It consists of the following five ingredients: tri-iodothyronine 75 μg, atropine 0.36 mg, diazepam 8 mg, aloin 16 mg, and d-norpseudoephedrine 50 mg per tablet. There are few case reports with clinically severe ingestions. We report two cases of clinical thyrotoxicosis due to use of Redotex.

Contraindications

Redotex is a complex combination medicine that can have different effects on different people. Therefore, you should carefully read the entire list of contraindications. Redoteks is not recommended:

• Pregnant and lactating women;
• Patients with severe gastrointestinal diseases;
• Patients with high blood pressure;
• Contraindicated in children under 18 years of age;
• Contraindicated for long-term use (addictive and withdrawal symptoms);
• People with severe kidney and liver disease.
