Toseina 2 mg/ml Codeine Syrup ( Bottle 250 ml ) can have a variety of effects. acted on the cough center at the medullary level to eliminate coughing. What is Toseina Codeine Syrup?

Toseina lean contains codeine phosphate hemihydrate. This medicine is used in the symptomatic treatment of dry cough (not accompanied by mucus) in adults and adolescents over 12 years of age. It is composed of a narcotic substance that appears on the list (yellow list) List III of psychotropic substances.
 Red solution 2 mg/ml is offered in bottles of 100 and 250 ml together with a measuring cup.Like other medications, Toseina 2mg /ml solution oral can have adverse effects, though not everyone experiences them. First of all, realize that many of the effects can be signs of your condition and will therefore get better once you start feeling better. Constipation, nausea, vomiting, dizziness, and drowsiness are examples of side effects, albeit their frequency cannot be identified based on the data at hand.

Dosage Toseina 2 mg/ml

Each patient’s doses need to be customized. To control symptoms, take the lowest effective dose. The dosage can be split into up to 4 daily doses that must be taken at least 6 hours apart. Do not take Tosein:

  • If you are allergic to codeine or any of the other ingredients of this medicine.
  • If you have breathing problems such as chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), respiratory depression (slow or insufficiently forceful breathing), or acute asthma attacks.
  • If you have paralytic ileus (intestinal obstruction) or are at risk of having it,
  • If you have diarrhea associated with pseudomembranous colitis (inflammation of the colon) caused by antibiotic medicines (such as cephalosporins, lincomycins, or penicillins) or diarrhea caused by poisoning.
  • If you are under 12 years of age.
  • If you know that you metabolize codeine to morphine very quickly.
  • If you are pregnant or lactating.

Possible side effects

Like all medicines, this medicine can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them. Be aware that many of the effects may be symptoms of your illness and will therefore improve when you start to feel better. Although the frequency of side effects is not known, as it cannot be estimated from the available data, these are:

constipation, nausea, vomiting, dizziness, and somnolence. Seizures, mental confusion, altered mood (happy or sad), and itching have also been reported. Skin rashes may appear in allergic patients. At high doses and in the long term it can cause respiratory depression (slow or insufficiently forceful breathing).
